Glitter - May 2009

Not only is Glitter a powerhouse, but she is very stylish. With an easy soft rolling jog, easy lope, powerful gallop and flawless lead changes. This mare has all the parts we look for in our performers - especially when it comes to temperment. Glitter is good minded, quiet and is exceptionally easy to get along with.

Bred to perform with some of the most successful blood in the industry, she is truly the culmination of all that is good in her pedigree. With her exceptional conformation, stylish & powerful movement and add that gorgeous dappled palomino color and her "legecy" mare line..... you get a true stand-out in the crowd.

Glitter is home being geared for the Derby season...she is behind (no fault of her own - she is acutally coming along quite quickly) and therefore may not make the some of the Derbies, but she will surely make an outstanding broodmare! She is very confident & relaxed, low headed, uncomplicated and is guiding beautifully. Glitter is soft in the face, and is exceptionally light in the mouth.... Glitter is always looking to stop and is always trying to please. This is one really cool mare!!!

Flawless conformation, beautiful rich color, breathtaking movement, thick black mane & tail and she is absolutly stunning to look at. This filly is incredibly elegant and has very fancy movement. She is so low headed naturally - a must have on our list of desired characteristics, and is incredibly deep in her hock as she moves around the pen.

This filly has always stopped people in their tracks!

This is one of the most naturally talented reining prospects we have ever seen, and we are so proud she's a homebred.

Promise is a very special filly to me.

Not only is she the 1st daughter of my favorite mare of all times, not only is she black, not only is sired by a royally bred very successful show stallion.... but she is exactly as we ordered her - personality, spunk, playfullness and all! Flawlessly conformed, powerful, catty, graceful, quick footed and is a stylish mover and a big stopper. Promise exhibits the style of movement we have learned to strive for in our prospects that will have a dual event career. Her maternal brother, Black and Bluesmal is a very sharp looking colt and confirms in our mind that this is a producing mare line - and with Hit The Lights as Promise's sire we have no doubt what her value will be to us as a broodmare.

To make it all even better she has an elegant beautiful head and neck with a soft easy jog and stunningly perfect lead changes, just like dad. What a filly...all the spunk and pizazz of her dam with a twist all her own. Promise was truly born to be my partner.

Now with a couple rides under her belt Promise is proving to be just what we hoped she'd be! Low headed, "feely", soft, light and just looking to get in the ground! Really a perfect combination.

Promise is being prepared for the NCRHA NP Futurity in 2011.

Jera is far, far more than just a pretty face! She's explosive, balanced, sweepy, and moves with style & grace all while being very low headed. Jera is WICKED FAST FOOTED. We enjoy watching Jera out playing, as she seems to have every move in the book... plus she seems to enjoy the attention.
